I would like to thank the hardworking committee for giving me the honour of judging their show and for the warm welcome, also to the exhibitors for their support and accepting my placing’s graciously. We were lucky to be able to judge the dogs outside for the first time.
Overall quality of the dogs was good and they were presented in a fit clean condition. I had no bad breathers, considering the very warm weather & no overdone dogs. I was extremely pleased with my final line up.

1st Salkeld’s, Salkysbully Dodgy Dave, 6 month F/W. What a lovely puppy, very much a baby but full of promise. Lovely head with flat skull of good length, clear dark eyes, large nose with open nostrils, correct small rose ears, good turn up of jaw, would like to have seen a little more width between canines. Decent reach of neck into super lay of well tacked on shoulders. Straight front, good bone, legs and feet, cobby body with nice rise over loins and good rear end, set off with a lovely low set tail. Moved proudly round the ring, with a super correct roll. BPD
2nd William’s, Dandos Lad R/W just 6 months, his first time out. Bigger than 1, but a very nice puppy. Appealing head with fine wrinkle, dark eyes and small nose roll, good dentition and width of jaw. Ears need to settle, but plenty of time. Well balanced body with nice pear shape, good reach of neck into strong shoulders, big rib, correct topline, loose tail, well set. A little ragged on movement but with more practice should do well.

1st Ferguson’s, Bulldovie Prince Athol, 11 month F/W, well grown boy with a super head, broad skull with fine wrinkle, well set ears, dark eyes, big nose with wide nostrils, great width of jaw. Straight front and good feet. Nice pear shaped body with a decent topline. Loose tail and typical Bulldog movement, handled well.
2nd Watson & Smith’s, Carasmel Let Me Be Your Star, Dk Red, 10 months, nice head, flat skull and well padded foreface, well turned jaw, good front, bone and feet, super body shape with short back and correct topline, loose tail, moved ok.

1st Bell’s, The Earl of Pendlebriar, R/W 12 months, standard size, lovely expressive head with plenty of fine work, nice turn of jaw, big nose with open nostrils and dark eyes, well set rose ears. Lovely well balanced dog, strong and well muscled, straight bone, tidy feet, nice body shape with deep rib cage, well up on his toes and moved beautifully. RBD, RBIS
2nd Mander’s, Milasha Boris at Erimusbulls, R/W, 17 months, nice head with good jaw, dark eyes, big nose & rose ears, lovely front with nice straight legs and tidy feet, but carrying a little too much weight, moved well.

1st Smith & Powell’s Carasmel’s Johnson 20 months R/W, I have admired this dog from the ringside and he didn’t disappoint when I finally got my hands on him, everything in proportion and nothing overdone. Presented in pristine condition. Lovely head and expression, well placed small rose ears, dark clear eyes, big nose with open nares, good dentition and width between canines, super turn of jaw. Lovely reach of neck into well laid shoulders, perfect pear shaped body, straight front with tidy feet, nice depth of rib and neat tuck up. A lovely rear end and mobile tail, moved and handled well. 1st Moody & Dobson’s Bulldurham Dolly Daydream, 9 months W/BR. This beautiful puppy caught my eye immediately, super feminine standard girl, with beautiful head and stand off expression, open nostrils, small rose ears, the darkest of clear eyes, lovely pigment, good width & turn of jaw, shown in good hard condition, giving the impression of health and fitness, lovely body shape, straight legs, tidy feet, well let down brisket, big ribs & lovely topline, ending in a free tail. Typical Bulldog movement, handled beautifully. BPB, BPIS, BB, BOS
2nd Watson & Smith’s Carasmel’s Henryetta, another nice puppy DK Red, 10 months, nice head and expression, fine wrinkle, clear eyes & open nostrils, another with a beautiful body shape & correct length of back, excellent topline held on the move.

1st Shaw & Alright’s, Tailor Maid for Tailored 12 months, Beautiful standard sized red bitch. Lovely head with correct sour expression, fine wrinkle, not overdone, dark eyes, big nose with open nostril, wide jaw with good sweep, well padded foreface. Strong neck into well tacked on shoulders, straight strong bone, neat feet, correct topline and good tail. Lovely mover & handled well. RBB
2nd Salkeld’s, Sodburybull Sunset Beauty At Salkysbully, 17 months W/R, another lovely girl, standard size, it was a tough choice between 1 & 2. Nice feminine head with lovely expression, good front, bone and feet, nice body shape, topline and excellent tail, just lost to 1 on movement.

1st Smith & Powell’s Carasmel’s Chantilly Lace. 20 months, all white with super pigment, what a beautiful head on this girl, feminine but with a bold expression, good jaw & dentition, dark clear eyes, nice big nose, ample reach of neck, well tacked on shoulders, straight bone down to neat feet, nice body and rear end, good movement.
2nd Ferguson’s Neptunebull Uptown Girl At Bulldovie, R/W 20 months, well up to size, shown in hard condition, straight front & good bone, neat feet, longer cast than 1. Topline lost on the move but moved & handled well.

1st Watson & Smith’s, Izzy Heirs Apparent, Dk Red, 5 years old. In lovely condition. All in proportion. Nice head with well placed dark eyes, small rose ears and wide well turned jaw. Correct front, enough straight bone and neat & tidy feet, nice body, big ribs with lovely tuck up, free tail, moved and handled well.
2nd Brown & McCormick’s, Brodico Maray’s Little Girl At McCorama. 2 ½ yrs old R/W. Standard size with nice head and expression, wide chest and straight bone down to tidy feet. Short back, big ribs and decent topline, a tad overweight which detracted from her overall balance. Sound on the move.

1st McCash’s, Taybull Dylanesque W/R 2 years. Nice fit standard bitch, not over done at all, head properties were good, fine wrinkle, nicely positioned dark eyes & good nose with open nostrils. Wide front with good straight bone, tidy feet, lovely body shape and super tail, moved well.
2nd Brown & McCormicks Brodico Lady Million At McCorama, R/W 2 ½ years old, nice wide jaw, dark eyes, flat skull, good reach of neck, well placed shoulders, straight front, tidy feet, big ribs, decent body shape & rear end, nice tail, moved & handled well.

1st Robertson’s Shining Ruby, 14 months R/W, very pretty feminine head with fine wrinkle, split nose roll, wide nostrils, well placed small rose ears. A sound little bitch just a little light on bone & substance. Moved & handled well.
